The Sedgwick County Conservation District is accepting WRAPS cost-share applications.
To be eligible, the land where the practice will be applied must be located in the green Lower Ark Watershed implementation area shown on the map below. Eligible practices are:
Conservation Crop Rotation - Contour Farming - Cover Crop - Critical Area Planting - Diversion -
Field Border/Vegetative Border - Grassed Waterway - Nutrient Management (Cropland) -
Pasture & Hayland Planting - Prescribed/Managed/Planned Grazing - Range Planting -
Residue Management/Long Term No-Till - Riparian Buffer - Terrace - Permanent Vegetation
WRAPS cost-share is based upon the rate of $30 per pound of phosphorus loading reduced.
NOTE: No cost-share payments can be processed between May 21 and June 30 of the current year. Projects completed during this time will be submitted for payment in July.
