Conservation and the Community
The Conservation District is the one state entity entrusted with the conservation of, and education about, our natural resources.  With a local annual operating budget composed of both state and county funds we are able to keep one full time employee on staff and provide conservation programs/workshops to local landowners as well as various education programs.  Through our outreach we strive to empower environmentally literate Kansans who will steward the natural resources of our state.
There are many ways in which we support local conservation projects and explorations.
