Friends University students of Dr. Russell Fox planted milpa seed in two raised beds on campus. Dr. Moses Rumano expanded the milpa plantings to a Kansas Newman public garden plot and lovingly tended all of them with just a bit of help. Dr. Rumano is not only an educator, he is a farmer, and we are grateful for his advice on the plantings. He shared the produce with students and physical plant employees at Friends University.
